![]() Looking for something fun to do? Why don't you go fly a kite? No, really -- join your friends at the Dayton Creative Syndicate from 3-7 p.m. Saturday, May 22, at Possum Creek MetroPark for the Go Fly a Kite Regatta. Release your inner child with your fist holding tight to the string of a kite. We'll meet at the Prairie Dock Shelter, which is just down the road from the park's main entrance at 4790 Frytown Road. Learn more about this MetroPark's amenities, or download a map at metroparks.org. Dust off your award-winning kite you assembled in Scouts -- or if your parents aren't hoarders, you can just buy a kite kit on site. Please do not eat the paste, unless you've brought enough to share with the rest of the class.
Other highlights of this event include the "favorite kite contest." The Go Fly a Kite Regatta is free for all to attend. For additional details, contact Tracy Westendorf at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . |
