Ever been to a silent auction? If you have, then you know that it's more laid back and less stressful than a standard auction. If you haven't, then Thursday, December 3rd is your chance. The GDAA, AMA, DCS, and IABC are holding a combination holiday party/silent auction at the NCR Country Club (map) at 6pm. The theme this year is “Meet Me at the Club”, and it's all about bringing back the glitz and celebrating the renewed optimism and condence of the late 1930s.

Everyone's invited to drop by, and the event organizers are also looking for things to auction off. This is a great opportunity to get your business' name or product out there. This is what the event organizers have to say:

The sooner you donate, the more you will benefit from the pre-event publicity which includes an item/donor list posted on our Web site(s), e-mail blasts, and more... plus, this year we’ve added Twitter… as donations come in we may send out “tweets” about the newest auction item(s) and who the generous donor was.
