UpDayton, a group that connects and supports young professionals in the Dayton area, asked DCS to set up a special photography project during their 2010 Young Creatives Summit. The project, for the Great Lakes Urban Exchange, encouraged young pro's to write their reasons for staying in the region. Joel Spitsnaugle and Val Smith, two talented Dayton photographers (and designers), volunteered for the project and photographed each participant. Check out their photos here. Janette Dywasuk and I also brought people to the booth and helped them write their thoughts. A lot of interesting ideas were shared during this project throughout the day. The summit attendees came up with five new projects for the betterment of our Dayton community. I can't wait to see what they do next. |
