Designer Demolition Derby
Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!
Real Art Design Group employees think up thousands of ridiculous ideas like this every year. But every once in a while, they follow through on one.
I’m proud to announce that Real Art is now an official contender in the “Cavalcade of Thrills” Demolition Derby at the 2008 Montgomery County Fair!
The demolition car, a 1993 Nissan Altima formerly owned by RADG employee Andy Nick, is sponsored in part by the Dayton Creative Syndicate. The car will proudly feature a decal with the DCS logomark.
It will be driven/destroyed by the Syndicate’s very insane brave Director, Rob Anspach. So make sure you come out on Sunday, grab some deep-fried, cotton-candied chili dogs and show your support for Rob, Real Art and the Syndicate.
Details:
- Montgomery County Fairgrounds (remember that the Stewart St. bridge is closed) - map
- Sunday, August 31
- 7:00pm
- Update: Upon driving by the gate, it looks like gate admission is $5 per person or $20 per carload.
Check out this slideshow that chronicles the preparation process for the car…

Loved the airbag explosion. Did you by chance let your neighbors know in advance what you were about to do?
Can’t be there for the derby, but I will be looking forward to the video.
